Workload Agreement - good practice Jan 2004

We are keen to find Local examples of good practise in instigating workload reform:

Example 1: Exam Cover, in most schools Internal and External exams are now covered by Exam Supervisors

Example 2: There are now several Schools in Lancashire that do no cover at all. (the knock on affect is that Morale has improved and sickness rates have reduced.) Average is now less than 10 periods.

Example 3: Two parents open days - in School time. Half the staff attend each one, the rest are free to "work" on their own projects.
